On other forums people said this when comparison were made - If Zelda Botw is Battlefield then Immortal fenix rising is Call of duty. If Zelda is Pubg then Immortal fenix rising is Fortnite. I wanted opinions from a couple of folks who've played the first one to help me decide if I should pick this or not. Especially considering that it's going for around 1.4k on Epic. The core gameplay loop of solving puzzles (however trivial most of them might be) while traversing and exploring its magical setting is addictive as f**k. It feels very refreshing over something like AC where you're clearing out endless enemy camps. 15-16hrs in and I'm still in Aphrodite's region. I love the lush green landscapes there so much that I'm kinda dreading moving on to the other dreary looking regions :| The draw distance is insane! STICK3Rboy Posted January 13, 2021 Report Share Posted January 13, 2021 This is probably the most fun I've had with a game in a long time. Not saying that I haven't played any fun games recently. I have. But this probably comes out on top when it comes to the fun factor. It almost makes me feel like a kid again, playing games in my summer vacation without a worry in the world. It has got me thinking if I should skip Hitman 3 for now and get the season pass for this instead. Also, scaled Athena's statue in Grove of Kleos and got my mind blown by the views from atop. A side effect of this is that I've become too OP.
