TLDR: Mick Gordon didn't even come close to releasing his mixed soundtrack in time for the release deadline, even after agreeing to it and getting a 6 week extension, then agreed to having Id mix some of the songs and and combine them for the ost to make up for his slow pace, then only managed to mix 12/59 songs himself (many of which weren't combat tracks), then got mad at how Id mixed the other 47, and now will not be composing the DOOM Eternal DLC.

Looks like concept art. Wtf are those locations ?? :wOOtjumpy:

One seems like Urdak 2.0 - which the DOOM slayer “decorated” during campaign [emoji846]. The other seems like some UAC base on earth - May be a oil rig inbetween ocean.

I wonder how the story would shape up now, that the Icon of sin has been destroyed

The addition of anti cheat is really bizzare tbh. No one gives two shits about their multiplayer and they are putting effort into it like its gonna be the next big thing.
There are theories going on saying that this was to test the anti cheats Effectiveness as the actual aim of DAC is to protect micro transactions especially for single player games. That means no hex editing, no cheat engine, no trainers, only pay to skip grind like AC games.

If they launch a new quake game, it will definitely be the next big thing. Maybe they are planning to, and this is just testing.

The new/recent Quake game is still in early access. Already dead and doesn't look like anything will change.

This game is getting review bombed hard on steam. So happy that people are finally uniting and standing against Denuvo

It has happened before and it's happening now but nothing will change. These companies will continue to implement denuvo in games on PC to fight piracy and cheats. All the upcoming games you see have some kind of stupid DRM in it and it will continue to hammer the game's performances in PC platform.

The multiplayer is actually pretty good in eternal. It's fast, full of action just like SP. You got to try it to feel it.

"Players were disappointed on DOOM (2016) with our delay in adding anti-cheat technology to protect that game’s multiplayer"

I'm sure the 6 people who played Doom MP were pissed that they didn't get anti-cheat in time.
