Microsoft and Xbox are an absolute beauty! Bought the Deluxe edition and it seamlessly integrated all perks and DLCs with Gamepass base edition! Free cloud saves are also great. Doom Eternal is only the 2nd game I have purchased with the DLCs, after Bloodborne. But I don't think the same is the case with Gamepass Witcher 3 base edition and GOTY edition with DLCs. 0verlord Posted January 8, 2021 Report Share Posted January 8, 2021 I am on Level 6 and there's an area which is too chaotic. For a few days, I felt that I'd NEVER be able to clear the area as I am playing Nightmare difficulty on a controller - kb and mouse combo stand a significantly better chance. But yesterday, by God' grace, I cleared it. I don't think I've EVER derived more SATISFACTION from a game when I cleared that area. Doom Eternal is inching closer to the best game I've ever played. I started on Gamepass but bought the Deluxe edition with The Ancient Gods DLCs because I feel id Software deserves every penny and more. Im low on Ammo and lives and they keep throwing heavy demons and a f**king Marauder. Marauder is f**king ridiculous, so fast. Any way to farm BFG ammo? Marauder doesn't give a sh*t about BFG also, typically you should see BFG ammo in the arena if there are loads of enemies no other way to farm it.. By that time I'm out of ammo Super shotgun ammo can easily be farmed by killing those undead walking folks, use chainsaw to kill them and keep running till you have enough ammo.. I found it simpler than battles where there are tons of heavies - I just used the super shotgun and always ran away from him keeping him always in sight - when he fired projectile, I dashed away and shot him when he came to axe me. Enjoyed it way better than the original Doom 2016 epsecially the platforming and the secrets. Movement felt much tighter and the platforming sections were not at all annoying. I really liked the Urdak level section with air jumps. I honestly felt that the final boss was better than the Khan Maykr boss. Atleast it was like a regular doom level where movement is prioritized and you had to constantly keep moving around, finding weaker demons to kill, refill ammo to take down the titan. Whereas Khan Maykr wiped my a*s for about an hour and 30 minutes before I figured out the trick and defeated her.
