What makes you think that would happen

or do you mean PC version

Console version.

Ideally, id games, specially on xbox one x and series consoles should be patched for higher frames and rt for free.

PS- I wonder if this ? had any role to play for this free upgrade. Do they have mtx in the console version as well?

Very long video ,any breakdown?

  • On an average higher res on XSX vs PS5
  • Excellent performance on all modes regardless of the console (even though they tried torturing the game)
  • Load time are halved on PS5 compared to XSX|S
  • XSS doesn't have ray-tracing mode most likely due to memory limitation
  • VRS is imperceptible and helps free up power
  • PS5 doesn't support hardware-VRS

Just to add to this - The game runs with RT settings equivalent to that PC's Medium settings.

He also mentioned that the resolution difference is equally imperceptible in all modes except 120fps

120fps mode runs best on SX according to them

This game is so much f**ckin fun to play, blistering 120+ fps, that aim with mouse keyboard, MAX fov, constant action, dashing like madmen, grabbing those money bars, getting in close for those glory kills, chainsaw, shoot, those gorgeous graphics, juggling everything together with badass music pumping through your speakers. You feel like a god.

What a game. :majesty:

Amazing game

just finished it yesterday

thinking of buying the dlc ,is it any good? Has anyone played it?

If you can get it for cheap yes.

both DLCs have much more enemies per level than base game, including the assholes with red shields.

the 2nd DLC's final boss is basically the boss version of the red shield assholes, and he can get health from you on successful hit, and you can only attack him when his eyes turn green and he does attack animation.

both DLCs are epic though and have good looking areas and cutscenes.

It's also the end of doomguy's story and ties up story loose ends.

Doom is best played with kb and mouse. Specially dlc1.

They should have made doom, a pc exclusive.
