Technically, you called my claim of developer’s difficulty design choices “rubbish”. So, you should actually provide proof of that ?

I myself have read articles and watched interviews, based on which I made the following comment ?

So no link ?

Instant. If you get the hang of it, it's as fast as QS with the advantage of having 2+ weapons.

There's a short window between QS and Shoot to press Zoom. Need to build that muscle memory to master it.

I choke at both of the above from time to time. -_-

L2 is for shooting- the only control scheme you need

A lot of people missed out on the essence of Doom Eternal when they chose any difficulty lower than Nightmare because that’s how the dev intended it to be played - with aggressive ferocity and full use of all tools at hands

Basically, on lower difficulties, they just nerfed enemy damage to make the game more accessible to casual masses

The only way to get the "feels":  nightmare difficulty with a mouse + keeb.

Fpses were not meant to be played on controllers.

I have beaten Doom Eternal on Nightmare with an Xbox controller and I am currently 2/3rds into DLC part 1. So, I am can confidently say that I am an elite Doom Eternal player

PC kb+m makes it much easier to play fps games than a controller, so beating the game with a controller on Nightmare is extra special

lolz … so no link to developer saying it’s meant to be played at nightmare difficulty..

just search Hugo Martin’s interviews for Doom Eternal on google or YouTube. I had read/heard on some article/video but can’t find the exact link I am talking about. It was an early interview when DE was still in development

I’ll share the exact interview when I find it. Meanwhile you can also search yourself if you are interested

as I said kb+m make fps too easy as compared to controller

you should actually try playing nightmare on controller to understand how difficult DE can really get

But you said you are well acquainted with the controller now.

Time to test those skills further

I am already testing my skills further in DLC part 1 now and part 2 sometime later

I heard that multiplayer is boring, so I won’t be bothering with it. Already have too many games in backlog

also, I don’t want to play with you ?

How about quake remastered. It supports crossplay.

Also, play against me. :gunsmilie:

I saw the gameplay but I am currently looking to complete Sekiro and then Returnal, Spiderman MM, Psychonauts 1 & 2, Dishonoured, plague tale 1, gears 5 and dlc etc

too many good single player games in backlog
