Though keep in mind that if something goes wrong, cough up 5K to MS for a replacement or try your luck at a local repair centre (i don't advise this at all). So u mean no PAL version for india, what about European versions? and buddy i meant moser baer has confirmed that but indian market is still far behind in adapting technology. Also Nintendo Wii is selling most due to low price even being a CD system cuz of price. So when do you suggest to get a better xbox 360 with less RROD, i had one which i kept for 3 months and sold it off, it never got RROD till then. Does that also mean that xbox has a life in india only of 3 yrs till the time RROD warranty lasts?!? what after that? buy a new one?! btw i had one more question, i want HAlo3 version in india, i am getting it from Ratetag.in or holiday bundle any ideas where can i get them, please no ebay Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

As for the Wii selling like mad, it has nothing to do with the fact that it's using DVDs. When it comes to the 360 and warranty issues, yes it's a question of what next after three years. A lot of people on this forum are facing the same problem. What i suggest is, buy the console only if it has the games you want to play. Else a PC is just as good, for most scenarios. And if you're looking for the Halo 3 version, check out Landmark in Mumbai (if the store is open, unsure if it is because Infiniti Mall was shut down for fire safety), last i saw, they had one. Good luck. well yeah i do not have a PC anymore i have a laptop and gaming on laptop is no fun, well 360 has almost good games, i have psp and most PS3 games are available as a scale down. Secondly, by the time we even get the Falcon (if we get it at all), more reliable chips would be out or are already out (such as Jasper). Down the line the Opus and Valhalla chips would make Falcons seem like the original Xenon chips in terms of reliability. Oh and did i forget to mention that MS makes it a habit to kill its consoles (like their other products) 5 years after launch (was the case with the Xbox1, might be the case on the 360 as well)? year 2012............they will be getting xbox720 and we will still be having 2006 dated consoles in indian market Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
