Also it is not just about tech, there is also a matter of manpower that knows these tech. The time to make these games is getting longer too. Notice that no trilogy was achieved this generation. That's where Dynamic Global Illumination (Lumen) and most importantly Vitalized Geometry (Nanite) comes in. In simple words as they explained that you can get film quality assets and toss in to the UE5 engine and it'll do the trick. That will save time, money and takes less manpower to build games.
