A company (MS) says it wants players to play their game for 10 yrs.

I don't see how is that controversial at all. It's obvious first company puts adequate gameplay.

While other puts all effort in gameplay. Even graphics and biome variety is not that great in Infinite. It's just about gameplay and music in campaign.

Said company wants to release 3-4 new big first party games in the entire lifecycle of the console, while the former releases that many each year.

Even if we keep last gen games aside (when he had a ps) the new gen ps5 exclusive games, all 9 of them…..are not enough to take on Halo Infinite?!?

It’s that good of a game?!?

I think this guy just beat all the legendary Xbots I have encountered in this place since I registered.

Just saying that I like free games & don’t have the patience or time to own two consoles & trading in AAA retail games(which is a must on PS5),would have been much easier.

Bang for buck is a thing.. too bad the analyst forget about it because they don’t play games ??

What about time?

Infinite has been designed in a manner to force people to spend more time in its empty world, and it failed to do so (understandably so).

Best parts of infinite are those linear indoor stages.

Gp earns money via engagement.

Engagement means time.

Hence many of their aaa first party titles should be open world.

Infinite has failed miserably in creating a living and a breathing open world.

Thus it banked on the f2p mp. It failed there as well.

I agree the gunplay of infinite is good (while it lasts). They should give us a linear halo with similar gunplay as an expansion.

343 destroyed the masterpiece created by bungie.

It's better to spend $70 on a short but groundbreaking and memorable story driven experience than spending hours on an uninteresting open world title.

A company (Sony) says it wants "players to experience emotional stories, get immersed and go on a journey with characters" exact words from Herman Hulst.

This is just an all-around bad take.

Halo infinite's campaign doesnt even come remotely close to Rift apart. RA is a wild ride throughout. Thats not to say Halo infinite's campaign isnt good.

Both games are not doing anything out of the ordinary in their genre, but RA is simply a much more enjoyable game.

Different people like different things.

Ghost of Tsushima has the most beautiful combat in an open world game.

God of War is the hallmark of hack and slash gameplay

Returnal has the best tps combat by a huge mile.

You are simply wrong on this.

Might be true for Returnal.

God of War is good for different reason.

Ghost of Tsushima is ruined by cut scenes.

If gameplay is what you want, then you should play games like pubg and freefire.

CodM if you are feeling like playing an FPS.

I am down for deep gameplay analysis. I will give proof with YouTube videos if you want.

How average/ below par gameplay mechanics are shoved in name of variety.

Deep gameplay?

Where the game adjusts your aim? All you have to really control- forward, backward, jump and the fire button.

Consoles are hindered/hamstrung by the inputs (controllers). Hence they need to balance it by throwing in a deep and meaning ful story (cinematic experiences) which stays with the player, and some innovations in the controller (haptics for example) to improve the overall experience

Also

If you want deep gameplay, why do you ridicule games by Hideo Kojima, like death stranding.

It has a deep learning curve on top of having a brilliant and emotional storyline.

I have played/am playing God of War, Last of Us etc. And I have played Halo.

Have enjoyed both to varying degrees, but don't need YouTube videos to explain which ones provide a better video gaming experience for me.

It is absolutely fine to have personal opinions, and they are just that- personal opinions.

You forgot to mention the super revolutionary grappling hook.

By YouTube video I don't mean  those that give their opinion.

But my opinion and a video with just gameplay to back it up.

It will be too time consuming though and probably not worth it.
