As long as they refund the people who got prepaid cards.

It’s temporary & only to avoid getting looted with loopholes.

Should have thought of it before hand.

Codes won’t expire or anything & once sorted will be usable I think.

Aaa sp titles are not compatible with subscription services. This is what Shawn layden alluded to last year.

In his quest to buy out followers, and not earning their respect, Spender is hell bent on destroying established franchises. This is what I'm worried about as a gamer.

In this thread, a large chunk of time is wasted on analysing who can give a cheaper langar. And when that happens, gaming loses.

Yeah, shd have thought of that well in advance so people don't have to wait for them to reenable prepaid cards.

They shd get sued for this because they told people can get subs upgraded and people bought a lot of cards in last 2 days and now blocked. Horrible customer experience.

They never promised that the PSplus+PSnow will be upgraded to Premium with whichever has a higher subscription date duration.
Just the duration of PSnow was promised.

It was a glitch that they over saw.

They kinda have full right to temporarily suspend things, fix it up & then reopen again.

It’s not like ppl who bought these codes won’t get the service they paid it for once it reopens.

They will get promised duration of PSplus which these codes offer & can upgrade it to whatever tier by paying appropriately for it.

They did promise it. This is from their own FAQ.

If I am subscribed to both PlayStation Plus and PlayStation Now, what happens to my subscriptions and payment date?

If you are subscribed to both services when the new PlayStation Plus launches, you will be migrated into the PlayStation Plus Premium membership plan and you will have a new single payment date based on the longer of your two subscriptions. You will be notified via email of your new payment date and subscription fee.

Yep this is outright stupid on their part then.

But still if you interpret it properly then that meant the subscription duration you already had at that date of announcement/conversation (/launch not clear).

Not the ones you stack up beyond that.

Yeah, interpretation is clear but once you give people a legal opportunity to find a loophole and then outright deny it, things are gonna get hairy.

ScamPremiumPlus ? All the best for getting refunds, people bought cards from multiple different sources. Horrible customer experience all around.

Also, before certain individuals pounce, this was not a dig at MS or Sony. Just stating that it was an absolutely sh*t move by Sony.

Ppl rushed in to do a GamesPass back door on PS+Premium

Entertaining Premium on stacking of subscription beyond a point clearly wasn’t promised(& what that point was wasn’t made clear).

Legally speaking they have no onus on them.

Ppl who bought these codes will get PSplus, what it is intended for.
