Only MS games were performing good on One X as MS was making sure their games run good on all Xbox consoles but 3rd party games were really bad. Long loading with bad frame rate was common in lot of games. I even added SSD but it only helped in selected games. One X CPU and storage are way too outdated for new games. One X was there for as mid gen upgrade for One but it cant give you Series experience. Same goes for Pro, once you buy PS5, you will throw Pro in garbage. If you want to play some exclusive that'll drive sales of the system up, and with the rise in sales of a system, sales of exclusives shoot up as well. Sony knows this better than anyone else (from experiences from the ps2 era). To be honest, I'm not sure what sony is thinking here( apart from potential customers from the PC segment ofcourse). They want to sell 200 million+ PS5’s (and are on track), but are simultaneously diluting it’s identity (in case all the leaks are true, games coming on pc within few months). My guess is Sony shareholders are falling for the BS that Spencer spews that these simultaneous releases somehow worked for Xbox. Resolution dont affect gameplay much but fluctuating frame due to bad CPU and popins coz of slow storage can affect gameplay in major way in every game. You have to be A grade stupid if you will choose console with Jaguar cpu and old mechanical storage over console with SSDs and nextgen Ryzen cpus. One X is a super solid console which portrayed as a 4K console, retailed $499 and no wonder its been ignored due to current gen launches.. Forza H4 looked bomb on One X and had performace and quality mode.. so considering FH5 is a cross gen they should have offered quality/performance mode on One X as well.. just offering quality mode sucks for One X users ( @b!T @AtheK) who also wants smooth 60 FPS gameplay.. They didn’t offer 60fps in Halo Infinite technical test 1. But after much outcry & backlash had to add it in test 2. It wasn’t surprising that it ran leaps & bounds better than SeriesS version.
