Sony took until 2022 to implement VRR on their own Bravia lineup out of the box. And for some models they supported it via OTA update, the implementation was crappy and received negative response. AnK Posted February 24, 2022 Report Share Posted February 24, 2022 It’s already out for Bravia XR confirmed though only limited to 60hz & can’t do 120 last I checked. Main reason for negative feedback among gamers. Though don’t know what’s the latest update. I think VRR users (120hz even more so)are very very limited if we look among all the 18m PS5 & 6 or so SX install base. But yeah it’s something that very beneficial future tech.
