No, just the ones I like or when MS has some great offer up like those 50rs for one month or the recent pay for one month and get 7 months free.

See I didn't buy like 3 years worth of XBL Gold and a 50k shoebox console to make me keep coming here and shilling for Daanveer Spencer or whatever else the 15 gamepass-players here do.

Any idea how much dollar went in to secure them chips in black?!?!

Will that be adjusted in the all time high hardware revenue sheets?!?

Still a drop in the ocean compared to getting Squeenix, EA and now even Ubi to put their games on GP.

The end game scheme is not to move more shoeboxen, but to get people hooked on gamepass by getting them to purchase multi-year subs :naughty:

They are playing a long game, one where having physical dabba console isn't necessary.

No box, no need for exclusives.

Who is that guy in that avatar anyway? It's like spencer is about to blow his load on his face and this guy is ready to take it all in.

Edit : BC on closer inspection, there is white stuff on his face already.

Yes he's a god in real terms . One of the best managers in the football World and the only Manager to have won a English premier trophy for Liverpool :) .

Dude these consoles are already sold at a loss.
Paying extra to acquire chips at today’s scenario could cost one potentially anything as the best of the best are waiting in the same queue.

It’s an ideal situation for M$ obviously as they are in a marketing capture mode & don’t really care about money atm.

But what it would have cost them is anyone’s guess right now.

That's going to be the console landscape in a couple of years. You think Sony will be willingly losing money / making paper thin margins on physical shitboxes when they can just push subscription and maximize profits?

SUbscription is a bubble, waiting to explode.

Switch is a handheld, which is competing with mobile games, successfully.

The traditional model of build- sell at full price isnt going anywhere, anytime soon.

Just because a company makes crappy half assed releases and gives it as a part of a langer to paper over the crevices, others have to emulate the same..

PS provides a aaa blockbuster experience on a $500 device and will continue to do so. Day and date wont happen, and subscription certainly is not the future, no matter how hard a particular company pushes it.

Just on pure speculation basis. With improving network infrastructure & technology it's inevitable that processing will move server side eventually.

Huge margins due to no individual hardware unit, better scalability, no revenue lost to resellers, not having to manage a network of distributors and retailer - it's just too profitable for the suits to ignore and drive towards.

Lot of parallels to be drawn from the video streaming industry. Both Sony & MS are testing the water with the current gen. in their own way. Ultimately the corporate shitbags are going to be looking out for themselves while ponies & xbots keep sh*tting on eachother about who is the bigger dumbf**k and which ceo is their best friend.

If sub services become popular, why would then big publishing houses release games on sub services of other companies?

They would launch their own sub services with day and date....

Gaming corporations like Sony, Nintendo, Spender would have to acquire more companies/developers under their belt to grow their umbrella.

I dont see this happening in the near future.

On top of this, the expenses of developing games these days.

Unless your daddy has moolah, you cant afford to give games away as a part of langar.

Also, economy of scale suggests once you start mass producing consoles, the cost price automatically goes down, eventually resulting in profits..

Hence sub services surely is not the future

cloud, maybe

sub services- so not

For all it’s existence in video entertainment industry, all subs have done is to replace cable TV & other on demand services.

They aren’t even close to replacing cinema.

Anyone who thinks it’ll happen anytime soon in AAA day1 video games is just kidding themselves.

It’s a very long shot M$ is playing & they know it.
(sadly their minions & free riders won’t accept)

Most hardcore ponies on this forum who bash Xbox and gp, dont own or play on PS5. They play almost all of their games on PC via game pass. Lol

Absolutely pathetic imo. Koi sharam nahi inn ponies ko lol.

@Vamos   was lamenting the other day about this thread getting derailed from being a ps V xbox thread to a name calling thread.

Keeping this in mind, some are posting about how broken Infinites mp/content roll out is/ meta critic ratings of games under Spenders watch/ games in gamepass and how members who should be busy "finding their next game to play" are rather here/ sad state of affairs in 343 industries/ lack of quality xbox titles.  etc.

However, others (read ?s) are busy reminding everyone that they own ps5s :rofl:and trying to get under other's skin.

No wonder, as pointed out by someone, the thread is not what it used to be. . Trying to defend the undefendable by giving arguments which don't make any sense whatsoever
