Actually  Sony makes more than a third of it's overall revenue (gaming division) - over 8 Billion dollars( in  FY 2021 )from Microtransactions from games like Cod , Fortnite and other popular live service games.

Total revenue from game sales (first and third party combined)  around 20% - 5 billion . Out of this first party game account a little over 20% - 1 billion dollars . And Sony's first party games don't bring any significant revenue from Mtx (since most of them are single player exclusives)

So yeah the success of these live service games over the years (CoD being chief among them) definitely helped Sony in funding their exclusives.

Interesting.

Thought they were just throwing it out there hoping it would stick. So there's some truth to that statement then.

If you wanna get down to single frame drops, xbox has a system level advantage with every game.

You can send every game in 120 fps package. Pair it with elite controller and a 120 fps, low latency screen, and you are looking at extremely responsive system, that responds to even slightest of touches to the stick. Making most of your 120 fps display.

On PS5 you need a in game 120 fps mode, it doesn't come with every game.

I prefer to spend 70$ than face marginal drops in my games because i am smart.

Games (that no one has heard of) with Gold - Mar 2023

I guess these will run 120fps @Vaibhavp

Sony is clearly moneyhatting and making MS give out shitty games.

Meanwhile PS+ Essential gets Minecraft Dungeons!! Damn you Sony!!
