Yes, because active users will increase without actually increasing your unit sales. Because it has to be one or the other. Its no like you can report both. Solid reasoning all around..

Unit sales might not be that high, i dunno. 

 

Engagement is high and they are aiming for that, this much is clear for a long time. So they are successful.
