Yeah you can't directly name call people because that's bad. For eg I can't say you're an idiot, but if you live in a society called XYZ and I say everyone who lives in XYZ is an idiot then that's totally fine.

Legacy of Kain :wOOtjumpy:

I only ever played Blood Omen 2 from the series but I absolutely loved it! That game was my childhood for quite some time. Played it so much that even looking at this cover art gives me a heavy dose of nostalgia.

Wanted to play Soul Reaver 2 and Defiance as well but couldn't find a way to "source" them back then :fear1:

Got them recently as part of the SE-Eidos bundle on Steam but it's missing the original Blood Omen :\

And of course, Jak and Daxter is <3.  So I really hope these rumours are true.

Damn Sony not f**king around. Silent hill 5 next month reveal?

Silent Hill rumour has been debunked O think. Also Konami probably wont sell any of its IPs. If they did, I'd rather Someone bought Castlevania.

I talk facts beyaatch. PS always win in sales unless Sony makes some huge blunder.

Though as hardware XSX is better and higher quality piece of tech that will be replacing my PC in future. PC equivalent to XSX specs will easily cost you around lakhs here or close to it but XSX will not be as expensive.

Not necessarily, right? Xbone X will cost around 50k ish around launch I guess. You can get a good enough PC with equivalent specs for around 1.2L in a year or so. After that, the money that you save from games can easily help you offset the cost.

Silent Hill is the most probable rumor actually (followed by DeS remake), Konami is just not selling the IP. Sony is supposedly bearing all the cost of development and publishing but the IP stays with Konami.

How do you plan to recover the extra 70k with games?:O

Even if I play 12 games a year, recovering 70k will take several years. Most console gamers just play the game and trade it in for a net cost of 400-500rs.

Though not debating the pros and cons of PC here. Definitely if it works for you, PC gaming has its advantages.

Not a bad gamble for ps5 then. Sony gets a kickass exclusive while Konami gets a piece of profits- win win for both except PC/xbox gamers.

Nah. I have barely spent a fraction of the money that I had spent on PS4 on my PC games. But my library is like wayyy more. Also, PC upgrade path is cheaper over a period of time, right. You can choose what to upgrade and what not to.

I am talking about over 6-7 years. If you hold off from getting games on day 1 (like I do), I get games that still go for 2k+ on consoles for a couple of hundred bucks during sale. That's what I meant.

Nope, if you can wait for new games to be so cheap in steam sales, those games become cheap during sale on PSN as well.

Also, if you need to wait for new games to be that cheap (400-500 range) , they will most likely end up on Gamepass on Xbox.

No way one can justify spending 70k extra with the plan to recover it via games.

Also the upgrade path is also not cheaper for PC now. Any decent ish graphic card will cost a minimum of 35k, and thats the bare minimum upgrade you will need every 4-5 years.

Again, as I said PC has its advantages and is more for premium gaming. But cost offset alone for game cant justify the extra 70k.

Y they get this 2spooky4me silent hill rather than MGS from Konami :nerves:

Imagine MGS, MGS2 or MGS4 remake on PS5 :wOOtjumpy:

70K Zyada hua but console are long run expensive than PC

4K games at launch, 3K a year for Multiplayer, avg console lifespan is 5 years, average PC core system(CPU, Motherboard, Ram) is also 5 years, people upgrade the GPU every 3 years though if they can.

And on PC you have other options also :zodka:

I totally don't condone piracy :fear:

imo best setup is Gaming PC as main, whatever PS console 3 years into it's lifecycle and maybe nintendo switch if you like it's exclusives.

Xmaal is totally obsolete now

I'd rather take Castlevania over Silent hill and MGS anyway, but all 3 are solid series and I'd be happy if they are revived :good:

Then again, Konami

Yeah I did play Castlevania 2 back then. The combat and setting was amazing, and it was really well optimized for PC, but it had an awful lot of backtracking which became really stale.

In comparison ,the 1st one had little to none backtracking and so much better puzzles.

Still it does deserve a 3rd part, or a reboot.

And yeah, I agree Konami has so many great IPs but just sitting on them.
