The way I see it is Sony attracts via exclusive games (which also you may or may not wanna play) and MS via Gamepass. But unlike MS, Sony is actually making money off it. It’s a classic fake it till you make scenario being pulled off by Pappu & his gang. A lot of ppl have realised this now & that’s why he wept in front of a live audience & said that just let me be & 1 Starfield won’t cut the job. Both MS and Sony do their part well and offer console and cloud solutions. The consumer decides where and how they want to play based on availability. They could have branded it under the Fallout Umbrella coz it factually is Fallout in Space. It would have helped a lot in putting it up against the likes of GoW,Final Fantasy or Spider-Man. Right now it will have to purely depend on word of mouth. It is clunky but even besides that if they can even pull a FallOut 4 level quality it would be a huge boost to the Xbox brand.
