They would just focused on Mobile side of ABK and just lay off all other devs. And other prominent 3rd party gaming publishers dont have enough money to buy ABK. There's nothing wrong in console manufacturers acquiring 3rd party publishers as long as they dont make big ip like CoD exclusive. I was very suspicious of MS when they said they will not make COD exclusive but recent MS commitment under oath changed my mind. MS doesn't invest in things that matter. Supply chain, marketing, local division for each country. They even allowed a narrative to be built around Halo Infinite, their flagship franchise. From Craig to lack of content to now, lack of players/ease of getting matches. Those who don't play it regularly simply make fun of it by reading stuff online. This is not how you increase your playerbase. That said, for MS, it isn't that big a deal to make a console that could outsell competition. They are simply not interested in it. Buying publishers is hard work. You have to invest and develop games. Paying for exclusivity is simple. Somebody else does the hard work that will boost my platform.
