A lot of time, you see reviewers say that if only the game had the budget to go with an orchestral soundtrack, it would have been so much better. Or that the tight budget for the game shows in the lack of animations/enemy varieties. My point was that - FW had a massive budget and the end result is not really convincing. As far as HFW is concerned, it is ultimately a direct sequal and I don't think there is a whole lot they could have done drastically. It has to ultimately stick to that template. Having said that, whatever I have seen of the game, it does look stunning and gameplay and other systems look refined which is great since that was a strong point of the original game anyway. Already said Demons Souls on PS3 was my first. Hardcore exploration- Skyrim sized map, no map markers. Entire game is basically you have to find 3 labs that give you materials for embiggening cocktail. Each one is cleverly hidden behind great level design and environmental hazards. They give you minor hints of its location but that's it. Casual, uninteresting exploration - game showers you with map markers for climbing a tower.
