Buying the game means you own it, you don't need to be subbed to GP, ist yours to play whenever wherever without even internet access(once you download the game in case of Xbox). For Day1 access you need to pay almost half the price of the game anyway, but you don't own it and you need subscription to access it as well. This basically means you don't get AAA first party games Day 1, but instead Day 6. Pay 30$ extra for Day 1 but you don't own the game. 'Early Access' is just a fancy term in this case, it's the same game for those who don't pay 30$ extra. Actual 'Early access' is stuff like Grounded or BG3, which was unfinished version available for players months or years earlier.
