It's not an attempt at a lame win, you xthots seriously trying to weasel your way out of a conversation. Feel free to quote me, tell me how exactly it's Day 1 if paying extra gets anyone access 6 days earlier. It's not a beta access nor a limited version of the game, it's the same state full game Day 1 or Day 6. Day 1 or day 6 doesn't make a big difference. Game must've cost $300-400 million to make. It's day 1 on gamepass. I would prefer them to be successful. So I will be supporting them with expansion pass purchase. Some people might prefer to buy this instead. Simple as that. I make sure to buy dlc if I like a game on gamepass. Edited August 22, 2023 by Vaibhavp

Anyways the circus continues for a couple of more months ,f*** you Ms and CMA. https://x.com/postup_sog/status/1693873569648800245?s=46&t=nhwZ8p2s5exp25OaHiYJsA Next CMA says we will block the deal since ubisoft + will become a monopoly 😅 Edited August 22, 2023 by triggr happy ss

With GP, pay 30USD to get 'early access' which is literally Day1, and you don't even own the game, you still need GP to access the catalog. On the bright side though, you also get first expansion (when it releases) and some digital goodies.

AnK
Day1 Day0 or Day6 doesn’t matter…..it’s a non issue really. But denying that there is no secrecy around this game & that ample amount of embargo time has been given is dumb really. My expert analysis is that the game itself is quite good & deep that’s why a two week review time has been offered but the performance is quite bad that’s why there is no straight footage apart from a year old reveal & even the deep dive was just short clips put together in a mix of dev kit mode(not from player view) & dev commentary. It’ll be somewhat like how Bethesda games usually are on launch 25+-fps with bugs & glitches. But in anycase this product will be the one break a 13 year old Jynx being the first game since Alan Wake to score 80 or above on Metacritic & is not Gears/Halo/Forza. Will definitely cause Sony to pull up their socks which is a good thing.

Vamos
On the bright side, CMA actually led Microsoft to decide something in favor of the consumers. Wish the FTC had a spine

They are outright selling the streaming rights for all Activision-Blizzard games to Ubisoft. Meaning Ubisoft will decide where it will stream & where not. I’m assuming the current 10y deals will still stand. But if Ubisoft & Playstation decide…..it will stream on PSN aswell. This is like a new take altogether. 1 minute ago, Vamos said: Wish the FTC had a spine FTC was the most spot on amongst all three. Streaming & Subscription is the same business & everyone & their moms close to the business knows this. In any case 10y supply to hardware & the future potential supply to streaming platforms changes everything. The only thing M$ is getting out of this is GamesPass access. $68.7b just so they have GamesPass access is quite horrendous price.

AnK
It got a court oath out of M$ that COD in its exact state is not leaving Playstation anytime soon. An oath in open court > Deals that can be manipulated at a later date.
