It definitely deserves all the praise and atleast a nomination. Its way better than most recent Ubi games. How many successful HP games we had? Howgarts legacy was ignored purely because JK Rowlings controversy. Dude many media outlets were publicly boycotting that game and same media is the jury at TGAs. You can say whatever. Howgarts legacy was purposely snubbed. And D4 was fantastic at launch, its after first few seasons and changes Blizzard made people got upset, but that doesn't mean you will ignore the fact that game was fantastic at launch and was universally praise by everyone for gameplay and technical prowess. It literally released like 6 months before acquisition got greenlit & didn’t even show up on GamePass when it easily could have by now!! Also HiFi Rush got like 4 nominations….which it deserved so why wouldn’t Starfield get more if it deserved any?!? About Hogwart’s Legacy…..it’s more of a fan Service…..outside of the core Harry Potter fanbase,I don’t think anyone would even like that game beyond few chapters. As for FF16….yeah that was a deserving title & I still believe there can be a debate abound RE4 replacing it in many categories,as it is a grey area about RE4 picking many elements from the original game & those creators. Diablo IV is great yes but….it just won’t have many ppl somehow wanting to make it in. It was an extraordinary year & many would miss out. Any other year & I think even Starfield would make it in. Games like ACIII,Mordor,AC Odyssey,Outer Worlds,DeathStranding,GoT,RE Village,Plague Tale:Requiem,Stray have made it in with similar ratings.
