Xbox brand has been definitely the biggest piece of misleading & falsely marketed hardware in the history of consumer electronics.

 

Just because of it’s assosiation with a multi trillion mega Corp has it always been not appropriately called out for their falsehood.

If it was any other video game console in history with this many flip flops & lies they would have easily been taken to a court,all for the wrong reasons.

Its a single player game,  its not a live service game?. How many players playing Spiderman on Steam right now?  Total 800 right now according to Steam. People played campaign, completed everything and then moved on to other games.

 

Another example is Cyberpunk, it died on Steam  few months after launch but jumped back up on top after DLC and Redkit mod tools were released. Once Starfield official mod kit out then you will see players coming back to play mods, till then there's nothing to do once all quests done. Skyrim and Fallout 4 still active on Steam thanks to mods, modded content is better and more fun than base vanilla game.

 

I completed all side and main quests and completed NG+ as well in Starfield.  There's nothing else left to do in the game till DLC and mod kit is out. There is no multiplayer mode or anything to keep me playing the forever.

 

Game was released in September. So not surprising, people moved on to play other games now. I mean i will not play same quests over and over again

Those other games weren't touted as 'Game of the Generation' before release, and even Pappu said it can have 10year lifecycle like Skyrim.

Starfield and Cyberpunk are single player games without any multiplayer or any live service features. Once you finish it, you move on till there's any DLC or new content. Why would anyone keep playing same single player game for straight 6 months ? I would not play Starfield straight 6 months even if its 10/10 game. 

 

 

I loved God of War, it was hyped as greatest game of all time by ponies like you, but it was one and done game.  I completed it and moved on, same goes for Spiderman aka Best super hero game ever made according to ponies. It's dead on Steam as its a single player game with no online multiplayer or any kind of mods or anything,  most people completed it and moved on.  I dont see ponies posting about how Sony games are doing on Steam after launch. Starfield is over 6 months old and you all still crying about it, just coz it didn’t release on PS5.

Did you even bother checking the links?

First one is the MP modder for Skyrim who gave up, calling starfield trash. 

Second is a whole range of modders calling it bland and boring.

Having few isn't enough, that's not how Skyrim stayed relevant for so long. No game that intends to have a 10 year lifecycle drops its player base count by 97%

 

CP2077 fans or devs didn't beat their chest like they're reinventing sliced bread. They f**ked up, they got back up and fixed their f**k ups and earned the praises.

 

Bringing in GoW and Spidey in defense won't do you any good, neither was touted like they're the next greatest thing that'll last generations. Everyone expected a great single player campaign and that's what they got, people played it, finished it and moved on. Expectations were set, those expectations were met, you don't get to put those under the same umbrella as Starflop.

 

Heck, Skyrim a game over 10 years old still has more concurrent player count than Starfield, a game less than 5 months old. This alone tells you what a massive disappointment it is, but xthots like you still pretend otherwise

Oh man here we go again, I understand if you don't check the links but seems you don't read before you respond either. Part of me wants to call you a moron in between just to check if you really read this or not, but I won't do that. Starfield is already in the shitter, obviously it'll see a small spike when dlc comes, question is will it sustain that engagement? How come 97% percent people just gave up on the supposed 10year life cycle game within 5months?

 

As for CP2077, I know it was a disaster at launch, I mentioned the same above, but they fixed it and not only that they made it better and followed it with a kickass expansion. You can't say the same about Starfield, and for the 3rd time CP2077 didn't say their game will a very long life cycle and that you can put years into it.

Only person who is a moron here is you and ponies like you who are obsessed with Starfield. Game has been out for 6 months, those who liked it, they played it and moved on to new games. Those who hated it also moved on. And about CDPR fixing Cyberpunk.  Yeah, they did fix it. It only took them just 3 years to make game great. You should give Starfield atleast few more months, game  was released like 6 months ago. CDPR was fixing A.I in the game for 1st six months after launch. Dont get me wrong, i love Cyberpunk now but no one can deny the fact game was insanely hype at launch and also completely broken at launch. Starfield was not as good as we all expected but game was not broken at launch. 

 

Bethesda already working DLC and other big changes in the game along with full mod kits, once they released all of the above then we should talk about player activity.
