This was the chance for an unheard of studio, and for the first time a Chinese Studio to win GOTY! So I kind of understand their frustration I guess! It's like an Indian developer going for GOTY Nomination but not winning! Nomination itself is a big deal though - and Wukong looks to be amazing (though I've not played it yet)! I get being dejected at the loss, but to vent on a game (BG3) it didn't even gave to face is kinda stupid. Besides they got nominated for GOTY for their first game, and sold over 20Mil units in its first month. That's no small feat, and most devs would kill for that. This to me is a far more closer call than what Wukong is compared to all other nominees. Can't comment on Rebirth as I just started it but I finished Astro and it is poetry in motion. Also, i just read Wukong studio CEO post and it's pure arrogance and entitlement. Be happy your first game won best action game and players choice awards rather than just focusing on GOTY alone. Also his post is an insult to other devs as if only he worked hard for his game.
