DF & others doing performance analysis is quite important IMO 

coz a lot of ppl like me missed PS4pro & OneX generation altogether & aren’t aware what was going on back then 

 

Also the fact that despite it being a simple FPS unlock 

many games show different performance across different types of resolutions hosted by PS4pro & OneX 

 

Like some ppl would prefer resolution even if performance is inconsistent but some prefer performance over minor blurry resolution 

 

So yeah for ppl looking to pick these games up now It’s quite important

They zoom in as much needed to find a difference and stoke the wars. Console irrespective.

Thank you, that's exactly what I meant. They can zoom in as much as CSI if the want, but at some point it becomes irrelevant :/

Console fanboys will always find a problem and make a mountain out of a molehill, and this will only give those fanboys more ammo.

Hell no, their work may be their hobbies and interests. That doesn't mean their work shouldn't be criticised, especially when their audience are in millions and they're making money out of it.

 

Besides, IF I go by your last point, it's between me and the guy I replied to, let us discuss what we find to be unnecessary, leave us alone.

Flight Sim should not & most probably will not be counted amongst normal “games” running for GOTY 

It’s a technical marvel at a software level without a doubt but not really a game design 

It’s real time simulation

Forza H5 can come into picture but it’s not really something new or fresh unless they bank on some extraordinary stuff in the content or connectivity department 

 

I just hope if Psychonauts deservingly wins GOTY the XB games studios don’t try & steal some of the spotlight from double fine as it’s again not something that was wholly developed in their leadership

Wut. Its MS game and they very much will take credit boasting it.lol

 

Plus originally Multiple bosses and levels were cut by Tim for Psychonauts to release the game but MS gave them money and extra time after acquisition to add those levels and bosses back and deliver full game that they originally planned.
