This gen belongs to Sony so far. (Before people throw chappals at me, im talking from the SP Point of View) I'm not sure about the legacy of Infinite in the future. While Gears (and Forza) proved itself to be worthy in the next-gen with 4 and 5 (even tactics) to be great installments and push the series into the future, Halo has constantly flubbed and drowned with whatever half assed rubbish 343 keeps on putting out. Infinite is supposed to be a "platform" so we wont get a traditional entry for long. I have zero hopes how they push the SP side of things forward like gears has been able to do with a very high degree of success and polish. Even though its super amazing from a gameplay point of view. I'm not sure Halo is gonna do well in the future. But Gears is not even close to what it was when CliffyB used to make them. It’s evident in sales & critical reception. But yeah maybe not as downgraded situation as Halo.
