Hence the allegation about "sneaking in and out just to vote" is completely hollow and baseless. @WhiteWolf has boasted several times about how xbox trumps ps when it comes to online play (so I'm assuming he uses this feature extensively as he is, well, an xbox fanboi). However when called out, he chickens out everytime by saying that he is only interested in SP. If you check the halo thread, i specifically called out @WhiteWolf and whitewolf alone (along with few other members) but not "all halo players". (Also if by "halo players" you mean @triggr happy ss then it's a different story, as only he responded the other day. I have no issues playing against him as well. How is adding an option the same as not having cross-play at all? Edit: For the absolute unaware who like to bait this thread with crap everyday, the ask for opt-out on Halo is to bring it on par with Halo: MCC. The ask isn't to remove cross-play, because that is just not viable as a lot of people, including me, play with PC players. I agree with your point but what the hell does that have to do with my point? Or yours for that matter? Both the tweets have completely different context. One is advocating adding cross-play (between PS4 & X1 like you said) while the other is talking about having an opt-out option for people who don't care for it. It's not like he's saying remove cross-play from Halo. I'm not defending what he said at the time (shill or not), all I'm saying is these are two different things. Now, if he goes ahead and says remove cross-play from Halo after advocating for it in Minecraft, that'd be utterly stupid and he'd deserve the hate. Obviously everyone has their own reasons & reservations for “not wanting to opt for it” & Then go on to say that you want to opt out of it when it’s not really solving the purpose you wanted to be in on it in the first place. Is that really hard to understand what he or shills like him did there?!? It was benifiting them to have crossplay with PS coz of a diminished community but now since it’s not beneficial & Infact is hurting their community they want to opt out of it on a personal level?!? Would’t it be bad for the “poor kids” on PC now when all of Xbox players boot them out from their lobbies?!? You can’t really go hunky dory when something benefits you & call others out when it doesn’t. Typical & pathetic cult behaviour. I remember playing UT3 on PS3 against PC players on controller only servers. sh*t felt like magic when playing against completely different platform back them.
