GT is very much accessible to newbies, but you gotta try once. There are assists which help you early on to get into the grove. After few hours, you will love it. Same with the current F1 videogame series with regards to stuff beyond the actual racing - things like pit strategy, tyre choices, fuel management etc. just elevate the experience. Both sim & sim-cade / arcade racers have their own place. NFS Hot Pursuit with the boys over the last year has probably been my most entertaining gaming experience. Flight Simulator is niche & it wasn’t even referred to as a game until M$ ran out of things to count. It was referred to as a “Program” app. BUS simulator,Truck Simulator,Lawn Simulator what not has popped up these days & are considered games. Ppl might even put them up with GT & ForzaM tmrw.
