Besides, Sony is supposed to be "For the players" so it's fair to expect them to not fall into the pit of shitty f2p monetisation.

Yup, I recently played FH5 and playing FH4 now. I don't even feel the need to check MTX because game just throws cars at you. Only money I may spend is for the Lego DLC which looks awesome to be honest.

GT7 also throws cars at you. By the end of cafe you would have over 100 cars i think but people want those 20 million only so kya kre :P

Man, the double standard of the ponies on here. When GPU subscribers scammed into paying less for the subscriptions, they bitched and moaned about it not being the official pricing, it being a back door and that it will not last long. Now that the GPU price is officially reduced (I actually can't believe I am having to explain that price cuts are good for consumers) ponies are bitching and moaning about how scammers are were already paying less and conveniently forgetting that it was a scam/backdoor way to pay less, now even if MS blocks the XBLG upgrade path, GPU will still be great value for money (so far we've had - Hades, Doom, Halo Infinite, MSFS, Guardians of the Galaxy, Hitman Trilogy off the top of my head)

You keep knocking GPU, but eagerly wait for any news on Spartacus. You keep MTs everywhere else, but when $ony pulls that sh*t with a beloved simulation program, you race to defend it and get into what-aboutisms.

Really funny to see how ponies have been pretty much losing their sh*t and grasping at straws since the Acti-Blizz acquisition. Looks like they don't have faith in $ony's IPs.

remember the time when ponies were saying GPU is going to increase in price soon… glory days

meanwhile we are stuck with 10$ upgrades and shitty MTx

Same was the case with GTsport

I didn’t feel the need to have any mtx.

Yes they need to make that user friendly instead of what they are upto.

Without a doubt.

On launch it was ok I guess that’s why no one pointed it out except Xbots.

People who reviewed it didn't think it was problematic because microtransactions were activated after the embargo lifted.

Talk about being uninformed. :loser:

MTX in itself is just half the picture.

The ingame currency system is the part which decides how much importance mtx will hold.

But since I’m talking to a guy who never played a racing sim before it’s better you stick to your Dirts & FHorizons :loser:

Didn’t they just nerf the credit payout in GT7

Yep that’s what I was talking about

& is outright greedy.

When it was reviewed it was fine I guess.

MTx were activated after the reviews… talk about good intentions…

I personally don’t care about GT 7, but the hypocrisy about MTx is hilarious ?

The Genre of the game has a massive impact on MTX & how it’s perceived.

In arcade games it’s mostly a cosmetic design that make most of the difference as the car mechanics & handlings aren’t varied enough like it does in a Sim to make any major competitive disparities.

You saying something like this in itself means you have little knowledge.

Ubisoft planning massive games showcase.

Quote

According to several sources with direct knowledge of Ubisoft's plans, we can report that a big games showcase event from the French publisher has been in the works for some time.

To avoid game announcements being drowned out by the competition, the event was meant to go ahead before this year's rumored E3. However, recent world events seemingly put those plans on hold.

We understand that a total of 20 games are lined up and ready for some form of an announcement in the near future - whether at the delayed event or otherwise - from brand new game reveals, to development updates, release dates, and trailers.

It's worth highlighting that you'll find the details of several previously unannounced Ubisoft games below.

Also, much like its peers these days, Ubisoft is no stranger to delaying games, so take the release dates with a pinch of salt.

This isnt true. Apart from speed variations (that exist since nfs 90s games), i notice handling is quite different. I was playing horizon 5 last week and the cars had different understeer and oversteer limits apart from speed etc.

Pappu Spencer's kiss of death to another IP.

The game was dead anyways, atleast for me. I played so many hours of i lt but they just botched it.

That and Overwatch sucks dick. Major reason for that is that Jeff Kaplan left probably because Blizz is a sh*t place to work.

Yeah that dude was loved accross the overwatch community. As soon as he left i knew this game is now going downhill.
he was really good at communicating with the fan base.

Speed was never in my comment & only an idiot will choose a nerfed car  in a competitive race where Super car is the opponent.

As for handling & other variations…..they are no where near as complex in NFS as they are in GT.

Level of MTX simply matters much more on an unparalleled level in Sims compared to arcades…which was my point.
