PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread

Xbox controllers have always been dogshit since 360 days. Except for the better build quality it has nothing going on for itself. Forget innovation they couldn't even get basic stuff like dpad and face buttons right for years. Don't even get me started on batteries.

Apart from being absolute dogshit for fighting & hack n slash games.
It was just perfect IMO. (360 controller)

I actually left Ninja Gaiden 2 & Bayonetta midway & couldn’t help but feel like my hands being hammered while playing Street Fighter & SFxTekken.

But playing Shooter games on it was a bliss & going back to Dual Shock 3 after playing on that was a pain.

Only clueless dumb mungerilal blind fanboys will think Xbox controllers are world class when they are featureless in reality.

If Build quality was the only barometer, i might as well buy a Brick :D

Let alone controllers

They had completely stopped applying their minds on giving new games to the industry post first three quarters of 360 generation.

Alan Wake was their last great & fresh gift to the industry.

Yeah they did help Titanfall but that was more of EA's short sightedness.

I really hope now that they are poised to own a decent chunk of the entire industry, they will do something good.

Apart from luring ppl with freebies of course.

This is true.

They are treating consoles like PCs i guess. Cheap, no frills access to games.

Just imagine, a proper well thought of successor to kinect is nowhere to be seen, even after a decade. Whereas ps vr 2 is just around the corner.

Ps/Nintendo are proper consoles. Giving superior gaming "experiences". Be it in handheld mode or on a 4k 120 65 inch OLED tv.

Oh they aren’t going to go the Kinnect way….hell no

Their game is subscription now.
Not hardware or even gaming software.

They want to be the middleman basically like set top boxes, apple TV & now Subscription apps.

They are catering to PC,cheapest possible console, highest possible TF console & future of the cloud.

They are leaving no stone unturned in making sure they reach everyone possible.

I won’t be surprised if they quit console business after this gen. & try to reach Playstation & Nintendo demographic.

Even valve (being a hardcore game distribution only company) is innovating (trying to innovate) now, with the steam deck.

Xbox is promoting cloud, yet is not coming out with a gaming handheld.

Ps- i love the og xbox so much is due to its novelty. Though it could not compete with the ps2, but it felt like a breath of fresh air. The system was different than what was prevalent back then.

PS2 controller is a finalist.

THE most innovative controller. LMAO.

The world had not seen a controller with dual  clickable  analog sticks and rumble feedback.

2 analog sticks revolutionised the way of interaction with full 3d worlds.
