ThatsĀ the whole concept of being an analyst..

I got sh*tĀ scared when I got that message on PS5.. my PS4 got corrupted after that message appeared 3-4 timesĀ

Ā

Yep eventually it dies, better to have an UPS

AAs are enough for dualsense also. Go check specs, don’t spew nonsense without knowledgeĀ :loco:

Ā

Ā

Ps5s internal battery is perfectly optimised. It's like apple's battery. Even a lower rated batt can give adequate performance. Vis a vis another phone with 5000 mah battery with a low SoT.Ā

Ā

Ā

Also why are we worried about battery life so much anyways. Dualsense gives a much superior gameplay experience anyday. Awards bestowed upon the controller speaks for its prowess.Ā

No its not, those who have played the games with proper triggers and haptic implementations will say otherwise.. it runs out very quickly in games like RETURNal

if they make a dualsense like controller that runs on them removable batteries, then the juice on that will run out even before the second pair has recharged completely.

Ā

Dualsense -Ā 1560 mAh

Two Eneloops (not Pro) - 4000 mAh

Ā

Ā

I get console wars, but maybe don't ignore basic math and science to that extent.

The Share button.Ā
Ā

Which was innovated by Sony.Ā

Ā

Yes Share button is clearly taken from other controllers but in this industry everyone copy each other. Its normal practice.Ā

Ā

SeriesĀ controller made keeping compatibility in mind. There are lot of subtle quality of life changes compared to old Xbox one controller.Ā You judging based on physical design of the controller, but ignoring new features likeĀ low latency and all. Not only Series controller got better build quality but also got betterĀ motors with better impulse triggers,Ā  hugely improvedĀ D pad, better texturing onĀ face buttons and triggers for better grip, sameĀ goes forĀ analog stick.

Ā

Ā

Ā

Dual sense has lot more stuff going for it than other controllers in market and its clearly feels mire nextgen, but SeriesĀ controller is also significantly improved compared to Xbox one. I have all controllers and played multiple games using all controllers unlike ponyĀ brigade here, so i know what im talking about. PonyĀ brigade here don't own any nextgen controller or consoles just talking out of your a*s as always. Lol

For the controller that uses 2013 tech in 2022, you'll need to spend ~2k for batteries and charger on top of ~5-5.5k for the controller

Ā

That 2022 tech in Dualsense is so hardcore you will have to buy a new one before 2023.

Ā

Ā

Ā

Spoiler

But, to be fair, it won't be because of the battery.

Agreed. I have set all to max, Returnal with earphone plugged in last 3 hours approxĀ for me.Ā

Ā

Cant complain as controller is simply phenomenal, true innovation which Bots can only dream of

Ā

Bots dissing Dualsense when they are stuck in Stoneage controllerĀ  defending the useless battery swapĀ :giggle:Ā

Ā

The Sorry state of Xbots man. Whenever there is talk of controller, they discuss battery swaps only

Ā

Dualshock 3 500 mAh. Lasts 30+ hours.

Ā

Eneloops 4000mAh. Also lasts 25-30 hrs.Ā

Ā

basic math and science also says a 12 tf console with superior cpu should vastly outperform a 9~10tf one. We all know how that goes everytime a third party game releases

Ā

I don't think it does. A video game is not just hardware. That is false equivalence and you should know it.

Ā

Your argument was if Xbox Controller had the exact same current gen features as dualsense, even with literally more than double the battery capacity- "then the juice on that will run out even before the second pair has recharged completely."

Hyperbole aside, that is still a nonsensical statement to make.

Ā

So DS3 was power efficient, great! I doubt anybody said Sony is incapable of making a more power efficient or bigger capacity controller, they obviously can if they want to. But they simply have not chosen to do that with Dualsense (& DS4 as well).

Ā

I was blown away by the Dualsense last year when I played Astro's Playroom. But now that it is borderline unusable due to stick drift, and having spent 5.5k on a new one, I don't feel like gushing over the innovations anymore. If I could trade off the gimmicks for longevity along with reliably 'standard' operations , at this point I would.

Hilarious...

Ā

You don't need a xbox to play PUBG or fortnite. You can play them on multiple platforms. Like the kid who spoke some sense. He wanted a park which i believe we need more of them at this point.
