Iphone?!?! Even if you compare the PS line up with the best of the best console generation in the past. It’ll still come out on top specially the first party response. & you think this is bellow gutter standard?!? I just pin pointed what was the bellow gutter standard in the history of console business. If it wasn’t for M$’s loss absorbing capacity,Xbox brand would have died long time ago.

What are you getting on Xbox and Gamepass? Crossfire X, the same tired a*s boring trio of Halo, Forza, Gears. Unless somehow Shadow run has you excited ? I would much rather pay 70 for a sequel to a critically acclaimed multi GOTY winner ( not everyone has that!) than play the plethora of -AAA horribly panned games on Bheekpass ?
RV1709
The nerve of some Xbots to come for an established super-rated franchise like God of War (downplaying it’s legacy and brilliance) while hyping up a new franchise game from an inconsistent dev like Bethesda will never not be funny I guess they hold PS games to a different standard while their fav console gives them crossfire quality ?? triggr happy ss
Sony is working on a plan to put ads inside PlayStation games, sources said, similar to a move by Microsoft to run ads in Xbox. Three people who are involved in the plans said Sony is doing testing with adtech partners to help game developers create in-game ads through a software developer program. The idea is to encourage developers to keep building free-to-play games, which have soared in the pandemic, by giving them a way to monetize them, they said. Click to shrink... Three people who are involved in the plans said Sony is doing testing with adtech partners to help game developers create in-game ads through a software developer program. The idea is to encourage developers to keep building free-to-play games, which have soared in the pandemic, by giving them a way to monetize them, they said. The new effort, expected to launch by end of 2022, would put ads inside PlayStation games themselves, to be sold via a private marketplace, the sources said. The goal is for the ads to appear like they're part of the game, like digital billboards in sports stadiums. Formats could include ads that give viewers rewards for watching ads and promotions for in-game items like avatar skins. Sony hasn't decided if it would take a cut of the revenue, the sources said; one said it's also considering charging developers and publishers for data on consumer activity on the PlayStation. Sources said Sony started talking about building the PlayStation ad program about 18 months ago after launching the latest generation of its PS5 console. One said it's being strict about vetting adtech companies, ruling out collection of personal information like emails or names. @AnKplease share your not so valuable insight on this ,we are getting bored. All Sony AAA IP’s are still minting money while all M$ IP’s have gone practically F2P thanks to back doors. Halo even officially. We all know who is poised to introduce ads in AAA gaming & who’s not. Hmm! Free to play games so their exclusives are excluded. But everything on Xbox is free to play, so.

If sony is making so much money then y the greed? 70$ retail games ,10$ upgrades ,18 $ for mediocre subscription are still not enough to fund F2P games ? Ads are bad or aren’t they when sony does it? 10 pages of how its bad when ms does it and 1 post when sony does it that too defending it . hsk_colossus
Companies have been minting money but than they decided it’s time to increase Ģặmể prices because they are losing money? what is this paradox?
AnK
$50-$60 MRP in games happened cos of greed you think?! EA,Activision,Sony,Nintendo,T2,Ubisoft & pretty much every other publisher is greedy so you should stop playing & paying for all AAA games in the market. Just stick Gears/Halo/Forza (as if weren’t already) Oh & now there’s CrossFX also You still don’t know what Sony will do with F2P games coz they just don’t have it yet!!! M$ does & in dire need to start earning someway or the other coz all are going free of cost mostly The desperation was evident when they tried to increase back door prices. Also only a fool would think about Sony’s $18 tier & cry a river here when it’s not even available for us. $15 tier is just $100 yearly compared to $180 (that M$ laughably thinks ppl would pay someday). For us indians is ₹400 a month & ₹200 with sharing. & you get to play Returnal,MilesM & soon other AAA titles that you haven’t yet. Koi teri tarah ka he hoga jo hasne ki jagah royega Coz “Who the f**k cares about Spider-Man”

radicaldude
And who the heck pays $70 in india anyways. For ps5, the games generally launch at 4.5-4.6k for a brand new sealed unit. ~$62. Which you can sell later.

Only a jhandu man will think all the minted money is going directly into their pockets. It’s being reused to create more class apart content. See the last page for amount of content jhandu ppl got who are more interested in counting paradox’s instead of quality games.
