That actually looks pretty good. i dont really mind the shape of the console, I kinda dig it with its Retro PC cabinet vibe.

If these things weren't so f**ckin expensive in India, I'd probably buy both ps5 and series x at launch.

Exactly, I'll be doing the same maybe in future when prices get stabilized. But, my opting of the console would be highly dependent upon the games.

Just Don't.

It is a waste.

I bought my PS4 in 2015 for 40K, and it is collecting dust most of these years( I use it mainly for exclusives but still ).

Ideally you should main on PC, then buy one of these consoles when they come out with the cheaper "slim" version or the "pro" version that will give prettier graphics.

As time passes, the library of consoles will get bigger and bigger, with more quality games appearing with better graphics.

you lose literally nothing.

Buying PS5 is a safe bet than Xbox. PS5 exclusives only make the purchase worth. Multi plats run or look more or less the same on both consoles.

Say what you want, I have only played on Xbox one X this lockdown, with just one exclusive days gone played on PS, I love game pass Sub, and forza horizon 4 has just been an amazing hidden gem.

Game pass is here to stay, and I am extremely confused if I wanna buy the series x or ps 5 first, do I even need to buy PS5 is a bigger question, except for next gow, I don't really care.

Playing games late has it's cons and pros.. also depends on indvidual.

If you want to play games like RDR, TLOU or Final Fantasy which are story heavy as well, you'd like to play soon because avoiding spoilers is dufficult and by recent events it's based on luck as well. While I was waiting for RDR2 on PC the story was spoiled for me. Now my experience with the game won't be as same as it might have been, but that's just me.

Also games evolve with hardware, you'll always get prettier graphics later on better hardware if the devs support the game. The older ones might be stuck on what it was.

I'm not a PC gamer anymore, consoles are just too convenient. Pop in the disc and start playing. I like prettier graphics but thats not a deal breaker for me. :P

And of course, my first buy will be a ps5 over series x because the PS has the type of games I enjoy. But If the price was right I wouldnt mind picking a series X too.

I did buy an entry level gaming laptop a last year with a 1050ti. Was expecting for it to give me atleast a decent mid range settings performance but the experience has been bad. Tried Gears of War 4 and Hellblade. Both were jerky AF.

Now its exclusively used for Excel and PPTs. :(

Maybe I'll sub to gamepass again and give Gears another go, as I was really liking whatever little I got to play.

Personally gamepass is a no brainer since I don't game as much and usually in short bursts. Get all MS exclusives along with other amazing 3rd party games on the service ,there is so much variety and always something that you might like.  I have been on the service since Oct 2018 when FH4 released and have just bought 2 games outside of the service ,actually surprised by how much money I have saved to be honest.

Going with series X without a 2nd thought coz of graphically superior multiplats ,gamepass and generally feeling positive with how Xbox is handling things since last few years. Also with cross play being a thing now don't feel the need to buy a ps5 immediately , will pick it up when there is a midgen upgrade and enough 1st party games.

Guys, first of all apologies for asking this here, only doing this since posts elsewhere seldom elicit response.

Does anyone here have any experience using Sony Playstation gold wireless headset? I was thinking of getting one for 7.5k from a store nearby.

Considering I am using a JbL headphone worth around 10k, which when connected using the 3.5mm jack on the controller sounds like crap, will the wireless surround sound deliver a substantially better experience?

Golds are way better than anything you can plug into the controller. Plus it has its own dongle so doesn't interfere with BT, and it has decent quality mic.

Bloody Phil Spencer has turned the tide, inspite of being a PS fanboy, I am considering the Xbox Series X too, but only if MS gives proper after sales support(that too only because of game pass)!

However 2 things I find unacceptable about Xbox here in India:

> I hate the fact that games randomly leave gamepass, that too In a short time from their entry to gamepass(3 to 6M).

> The fact that ms still craps on Xbox users after your one year warranty expires, is proof they don’t give 2 shits about Indian consumers and I hate this crap attitude of corporates. Imagine spending 60k and getting fkd!

To pc gaming proponents, I am done with PC gaming, you need to spend too much time and energy to maintain and upgrade your PC. I spend more time obsessing with settings and performance rather than enjoying the actual game.

Contradicting your experience, Throughout the last generation I used PC, PS4 etc.... and the only console that was convenient and practical and value(second hand market) for me was the ps4. Even the PC sucked except when I pirated(which I stopped because I felt guilty) because issue after issue popped up and I hard to get alphas response as solution from here.lol.

I used to have a gold

used it to the point where it started getting worn out

quality was good & it was working perfectly even after 5 years

Just that the covering on foam started getting off

Now I have a Platinum

its even better

Ah thanks bro! Is the price of 7.5k reasonable? I am getting it from one of them duty paid, smuggled or something.

The sound on 3.5mm is feeble with almost no bass.
