Now i am connecting my 360 with a HD component cable, out of which 2 r for audio and others for video. now for 5.1 channel speakers i need 6 inputs and right now i only have 2 inputs. is there any way tht i can connect my speaker system with my 360. One excellent and cheap option is eSys Divoom COMET-A1. It comes with DOLBY DIGITAL and DTS decoders. So you can also plugin your PS3 and enjoy DTS games as well. AtheK Posted September 8, 2008 Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 not possible....till there is some convertor both PS3 and X360 have only optical out for 5.1 sound if your HTS supports virtual Dolby you can have it upmixed otherwise it is not possible. AtheK Posted September 8, 2008 Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 dont think so as that convertor need to have a decoder to decode the optical signal to Analog signal. You get a convertor which converts optical to coaxial and then that coaxial input can be used to put to HTS again it should support it. Gautam Posted September 8, 2008 Report Share Posted September 8, 2008 I have 5.1 surround AX360 headphones which came with a dolby decoder which accepts coaxial as well as optical inputs.
