Took a risk to use a relatively new app called CheQ today to pay outstanding credit bills in excess of 3L and received around 1500 as Amazon cashback.

Not too much but everything is either capped at 750 or doesn't pay anything at all like Gpay or Netbanking. Atleast I was able to recover transaction fee levied at one of the portal.

Hardly new. It's has been fully utilised over the last 3-4 months and now the rewards are heavily devalued.

They even clawed back some points recently. Multiple payment failures.

I have access but not sure how fast they credit payment to cc account ? Cred, for all it's useless points, credits the amount almost instantly. How fast is Cheq ?

It took couple of hrs to get the message from ICICI, not sure how long it actually took. HDFC was almost instant.

How does it matter? It should just be credited successfully as last date is still far away in most cases.

UX is pretty much uncluttered as there's nothing else other than CC payment I guess.

Yeah, that's the actual question. What happens if the amount is not credited to the CC account ? I once had an issue with Cred, and they were very quick to resolve.

This issue is fairly common with Cred and lately, Cheq. You can get quick resolution or might have to wait a bit.

For a few points, I don't think it is worth it. Better just do IMPS to cc account.

Essentially cred does IMPS to CC account. I've only faced issue once since Cred launched. Been super quick to settle transactions tbh.

Not necessarily. I have seen Cred doing NEFT on various of my txns. Depends on the CC and the issuing bank.

How many of you guys use Slice or Uni or something similar?

Looking to know about their reward system where you get a redeemable currency like coins/monies and how one redeems those for what value.

I had Uni but it got discontinued on Dec as per RBI guidelines. Not sure if it would be worth now as it will have different rewards.

About rewards, it used to give straight up 1% Cashback if you pay in full, which can be used to pay the bill itself. No strings attached.

Was your CIBIL hit?

Anyway, send them a mail citing RBI circular in which detailed reason for rejection of the application needs to be provided and then also mention your credit history etc etc and then ask them to consider again.

Here is the relevant text:

I request you to provide me the exact reason for not approving my application as per RBI rule i.e. Refer to Ser 6(a) (i) of this document

https://rbi.org.in/Scripts/BS_ViewMasDirections.aspx?id=12300

If they don't reconsider and the reason is unsatisfactory, you try raising it to pno/head-cc.

Do you already have 2 cards from HDFC?

Anyway, very common for CC applications to be messed up, so send the mail and wait patiently.

Axis once declined my application and did not disclose the reason. Sent them the mail and after a tussle found out that it was because of failed work address verification. Some stupid ground agent put my employer as Deepak Nitrite in Gujarat as supposed to my real company in Gurgaon.

Got that sorted out later.

I'm trying to get Axis Vistara Infinite, but Pharma/Medicine etc is not even an option in their drop-down list of employed sector. Any way out ? They ask employer details etc, but none of the other options are remotely close to the industry I work in.
