Nothing is stopping them and people are allowed to feel hurt. These people never had access to this game, they have never faced a devaluation. It has always been an interesting strategy to optimize your spends to get few freebies. However, it has always been difficult process and took a lot of time and energy, along with spending power. Magnus changed the game completely. It made the process too easy and didn't require big spending power. So, everyone rushed to join the party and enjoyed free business class tickets and suites. If you ask customer care, they will say the same. Agents have been asked to stop sourcing new cards on the basis of old benefits. RM and BMs have communicated on WhatsApp as well. I transferred my points because I have plans and don't want to take any risk, if it turns out to be a hoax, will be glad but highly unlikely. Makes it worthless, Infinia was, is and I guess will continue to remain the king of CCs. I am sure everyone enjoyed the ride while it lasted. What would be the best place to transfer this, going to give this shock to my friend who used to brag about his points via Magnus might as well advice him where to transfer.
