The cinematic looked amazing. If you told me a AAA studio made it i would have believed you.

It it a AAA title.

Why devs consider Baldur’s Gate 3 anomaly, not new standard for RPG genre: “It’s Rockstar-level nonsense for scope”

This game is insanely big, there are so many branching storylines and outcomes that you're going to miss 80% of it, unless you keep redoing it.

Like I was doing a main mission in goblins camp and I secretly unlocked an inaccessible room, bc kaha gaya me, I solved a puzzle which took me 20 mins that opened another gate and now I'm in a different world with different paths and missions altogether and then I open another underground area which I believe spent all day (yesterday) exploring and doing quests. It's that huge and there's always something at each corner in the game.

I'm playing as a sorcerer and on tactitian difficulty. It's tough but I'm enjoying it. The odds are never in my favour in that difficulty. I've barely won a dice. I got my critical success just now while rolling a dice, the winning window was 2 and I got a 20 first time. I was happy but the win was against the bull for animal instinct 🤕

Already given 25 hours and I got my game on 5th aug

Damn, I'm having fun.

So 25 hrs in just 3 days. Damn, that's no life-ing it.

Didn't thought it will be as addictive as Baldurs Gate 2, after playing their DOS2.

Might change my mind and get it day 1 on console, despite that over pricing.

Mouse and Keyboard, while I've tried with the controller once and it's implemented well. I still prefer M/K for these kind of games for better layouts.

I wonder how Bioware must be feeling right now. BG was their baby but they never got opportunity to make a new one thanks to EA.

Last, BG style game Bioware made was Dragon Age Origins, one of my favourite RPG games of all time.

Anyway, Congrats to Larian studios, releasing multiple back to back successful turn based RPGs. First Original Sin and now BG. I hope they get rights to revive and modernise more classic InterPlay published games.

Which ones?

Fallout is already taken.

Larian cannot revive Planescape: Torment. Their writing is not on same level.
