Agent 47 Posted May 13, 2023 Report Share Posted May 13, 2023 Played the game a little on PS5. Have reached level 8. Combat, UI feels nice. Doesn't feel like you need MnK or designed solely for MnK. I did find cutscenes a bit jarry. The transition is cutscenes felt weird (too many cuts within one scene). No idea how its on PC. Playing as a sorcerer and the dodge feels weird like some sort of input lag. Even when other characters are following you n if they fall too behind they sorta teleport which feels werid to look. Agent 47 Posted May 15, 2023 Report Share Posted May 15, 2023 So, killed the World Boss yesterday. Was tough being 5 levels under but too many people were there so that worked. Game seems to be nice. But i'm very reluctant to get this. I have been playing Destiny 2 for many years now and looking at the battle pass/seasonal structure of this game, it heavily resembles destiny's structure. The game is going to heavily monetized for sure. I know its cosmetics only but it'll probably impact the content drop. The game will also heavily rely on FOMO so either get in early, make the game part of their daily life or do not play at all. Its feels like an in n out a live service game. If you have pre-ordered this, just know what you are getting into. It might start as fun but sooner or later its gonna become a daily chore. It's one of those games that after playing Beta, you constantly think about it. Cannot get enough of it. They did 3 Betas to prepare the server. That's huge. Plus as long Blizzard stay true to their word and keep only cosmetics behind battlepass then all is good. back in the day, Overwatch took game industry by storm. And I've played that game from closed beta. Same feeling here as well. Cannot wait for 4:30 am in the morning on this Friday. And you are right, it will be highest selling title this year. More than any other trailer, this video series is hyping me up for the game. 3 episodes have been released and will recommend this to anyone remotely interested in the lore.
