For a game that lists GT630 as gpu requirement, the performance is utter sh*t. The game literally becomes slide show within first few minutes as soon as the action ramps up. Even low settings dont help. The CPU is constantly at high usage at any settings. Heard it does not run well on Xbox as well...anybody playing this facing the same issues.

Pentiment it is.

Norco seems interesting. I think it was nominated for TGA.

Norco is already on PC gamepass

Is Soccer story by the same studio who made Golf Story for Switch (and making Sports Story now) ? If yes, then it should be a blast ! Love Golf Story.

Na, Golf story was made by Sidebar games. This one is by Panic Barn.

Played Pentiment for 3 hrs. Writing in game is stellar. It's set in 16th century Europe and it captures culture and traditions beautifully.

Also talking to every character I can find. Real role playing possibilities here, you can behave in any way you want.

Works perfectly on Series S.

I agree as well. Played about 2 hours with it and enjoyed my time. Those who know their medieval history will probably get more out of the story. I read somewhere that this is Disco Elysium in medieval times but not getting such vibes in gameplay yet.

I am tempted to tell everyone I support Martin Luther and Church needs to modernise.

Maybe in future playthrough.

Mine’s a hedonist with medicine, logic and occult. Interested to see where this goes. The dialogue options are hilarious sometimes.

Cool.

I need to check the game to see my background. Those names were confusing

I am hearing time is a currency in the game and you spend it while investigating leads. Wouldn't be possible to investigate everything. Dev's also mentioned whether you caught culprit will be open to interpretation.

Curious to see how that plays out.

The time restriction is kind of lenient. It tells you before hand which events will progress time, so you can obviously choose.

Completed Act 1.

I thought game was murder mystery but there is a lot more to it than that.

I did mess up investigation and I am not sure I caught the culprit.

But Dev's said that was intentional.

Yea, there’s no way of knowing whether the guy you are accusing is actually a culprit or not.

Act 3 is supposedly where everything comes together.

Completed Requiem and planning to start either of the following: Deathloop, Pentiment or Somerville

Leaning towards Somerville for now (don't know why). Let's see.

The endings are pretty stupid.

Completed in just a day ? Seems short.

Anyways, can't get wrong with Deathloop. It has annoying start, but ultimately quiet enjoyable.

Pentiment is more of a niche title. Writing reminds me of good HBO shows. You are in a village talking to peasants, can't get any simpler than this. But writing is so natural and enjoyable. Feels like Dev's understand their setting very well and actually been there. I am talking to everyone I can find.

The premise is interesting and some of the puzzles are well done. Also few of the scene setting is really evocative and makes you stop and take it all in. Those who wish to play this just know that anything that is highlighted yellow is interactive. This saved me a lot of grief when I figured this out. The 3D environment though looks good, hinders the game. The character getting stuck in the geometry does not help. This one makes me want to replay Inside which is obviously the superior one.

Regarding the ending:

Spoiler

I agree. Also I dont know how it is possible for anyone to know the light codes to unlock all the ending without a guide, except maybe 2 of the endings. I honestly thought they are going to go off the rails in the last chapter with the dad becoming a superhero or something. But the last chapters dropped the ball. 2001 Space Odyssey esque human simulation trope has become old now I think. Interesting imagery though. Really loved the scene where the friendly human leaps off the bell tower to rescue the family. That whole 3-5 minute sequence was well put together.
