Watched a bunch of movies this past month.

Mortal Kombat: was their budget in the thousands, this felt like a straight up b-grade thing. The choreography and brutality were nice. Passable one time watch, but really does nothing to bring the lore out in a more modern way. Also the story seems so hokey now. Have I grown up?

No Country For old Men: what a gem. I always thought I’d seen this and wasn’t impressed. Turns out, what I’d watched was burn after reading. The only thing I remember is I didn’t really care for it when I watched it. This one though, man. Chigurh is one scary ninja. Tommy Lee and Brolin were perfect too.

The Man from UNCLE: a well cast fun movie but missing that Guy Ritchie magic. Cool score.

Gladiator: disappointing. The fights were muddled, the story didn’t really work, too much hero worship. Only the plus side, holy hell Joaquin Phoenix. What a performance. Overall one of the misses from Ridley Scott.

Knives Out (re): love this one. Such an intelligently crafted thing.

Army of the Dead: absolutely dumb, kinda fun; the Zack Snyder play book.

Benjamin Button: Hela is a babe. <3

Hitman’s bodyguard: teen crap, Salma Hayek

I Care A Lot: who’s got a more sensual voice than Rosamund Pike?

Druk (Another Round): fun, touchy little thing. Worth your time

The Gentlemen: ooh, this was fun. Bit of that guy Ritchie loveliness in here

The Big Short: clever, funny, well acted, smart. Also depressing.

Hustlers: LOL :fear1:

Sicario: pretty good. Gets down to it quickly, works.

No Country For old Men : Yeah man awesome movie.Oscar winner.
Army of the Dead : Definitely dumb fun for sure. Fresh take on Zombie movie. Ending was a*s.
Benjamin Button: Lovely movie indeed.
The Big Short: Great movie, he's made another prediction recenly :samui:
Sicario: Emily Blunt is always so awesome :majesty:

Saw a few movies as well.
Solo a Star Wars Movie - Great movie. Way better than the trash that was Rogue One.
God Bless America - Great fun movie. Points everything that's wrong with America and the world today.
We're The Millers: Such an amazing and funny movie. Jennifer Aniston so hot.
That's My Boy - Decent , had some funny bits, but not that good.
Monster Hunter - Bad movie but not completely terrible.
Dallas Buyers Club - Alright Alright Alright. Awesome movie.
Nebraska - Great movie.
Dredd - Great movie. Queen Cersei was awesome.

I enjoyed both a lot. But upon re-watching multiple times, SOLO was way more entertaining. Fun, lighthearted adventure and Alden was perfect.

Yeah both was good. Too bad, Solo was not a commercial success and the poor reception of Rise of Skywalker have halted or cancelled future Star Wars movies.
