Godzilla vs Kong - what an amazing movie, the special effects were literally jaw dropping, that final fight between Kong/Godzilla/Mecha was really something :O.  Watching it on prime video didn't do this movie justice, would've been far more amazing to watch in theaters !!

I should stop watching these tatti made for streaming movies. Also how the hell does this have $200M budget and the special effects look like sh*t? Interstellar was made with $160M and its an audiovisual masterpiece.

Shershah - hats off to Captain Vikram Batra once again. Massive respect to all the soldiers. :majesty:

Abhishek played the role better imo despite being in a much shorter role. Had the boyish charm and innocence that Sidharth lacked. Also his signature lines were better delivered and placed in that movie.

But what a life captain batra had. His life, attitude, quotes and to top it off his legendary codename. He's the closest thing to shaheed bhagat singh our generation will get to see. :hi2:

Its all because of director and how many iterations/changes he is doing during the editing/vfx time. Vfx as such doesn't cost that much money but changes make the amount go up. So nolan had a clear vision as to what he wants so amt is less whereas here the director is clearly not having a clear vision is making the amt go up.

Yeah also helps that Nolan had literal Nobel prize winner scientist advising him who conceptualized how black hole should look like using math, and submitted the same paper to scientific community (without the 'love' part).

It's decent. I fast forwarded the romantic sections, but IRL his fiance also underwent a lot of trauma. Never married again.
