Classic Fincher. @Bird Bird Bird, check it out if you haven't already and also watch the documentary if you can. Fincher isn't on it (understandably) but it's an excellent piece on what studio interference can do to a vision. Resurrection on the other hand is awful. They went through multiple, interesting treatments with different writers before landing on the final prison planet one. They should've optioned the others for other media (comics, games, etc.), but ehh. And a lot of folks touched that project, from Larry Ferguson (Hunt for Red October) to Vincent Ward (What Dreams May Come) to David Twohy (Pitch Black).
