Tom Bombadil was the only one in ME on whom the Ring did not have any effect at all. The Hobbits were the ones who were resistant to the Ring - that was because they were generally content with their life, and did not have grand ambitions. The Eagles do not fit in this category of not having much ambitions. Also, Letters from Tolkien state - at the Chamber of Mount Doom, where the Ring was made, no one in ME had the capability to resist the Ring (Unless they were above Sauron like the Valar/Maiar greater than Sauron/Eru Illuvatar a.k.a God). This is not taking into account that the Eagles carrying the Ring will be very much visible, and Sauron did have his own anti-air defences, such as his own flying beasts and an army full of beings capable of shooting things out of the sky. Interesting, especially considering the eagles are at a higher level than other ME wildlife. But then if they were divine beings created by the Valar, I wonder if they'd have been affected at all. This is of course leaving aside the practical concerns of them being visible in flight, etc.

However, even the Maiar are capable of being corrupted by the Ring as Gandalf stated, and Saruman clearly showed. From my memory of The Silmarillion, the Maia who would be above Sauron would be Eonwe, who was the leader of all Maiar personal emissary of Manwe - The King of the Valar, Ilmare - The Handmaiden of Elbereth and Melian - who created the Girdle of Melian, a barrier so powerful it kept out Morgoth, the Valar who was Sauron's master. </Spoiler> Edited April 7, 2021 by roun90

It’s the second Paramount release that Amazon has picked up after Coming 2 America which was a record-viewed hit for them. That Eddie Murphy title was snapped up by Amazon for $125M, as Deadline first told you. Tomorrow War‘s most recent theatrical release date was July 23. At one point before the pandemic, the movie was scheduled to release at Christmas last year.

Big Boss
Rewatched Civil War, Infinity War and End game in last week. Can't appreciate the movies enough. They planned the whole saga exceptionally well and the call backs are tremendous. The end credits are superb in Endgame, with all original Avengers featuring prominently. I don't think this feat can ever be repeated. Also realised that the dialogue about "you are not going to raise your seat" was from civil War, and Bucky returns the favour in Falcon and Winter soldier. Shows how connected the MCU is.
