Any IMAX buff knows whether there’s a 1.43:1 digital IMAX theatre in India?

1.43:1 is possible only with IMAX GT projectors, with huge stadium style seating (Prasads in Hyderabad and Wadala in Mumbai had these. But now they are no longer associated with IMAX).

There are only 3 of these left outside of the US as of now (Melbourne, Prague and BFI London).

Finally saw missing, available on netflix. Worth your time and hopefully this genre continues.

Saw this today. Really well done. Love this genre tbh.

Edit: I did go looking for the Unfiction show.

So no one saw Oppenheimer or Barbie? No reviews/impressions here yet? Very rare on ivg

I was waiting for the crowds to reduce, the opening weekend I am sure must have been crazy. I wanted to watch it in IMAX only when the seats are nice, going to watch it on Friday. Apparently, many people are pissed with Oppenheimer as they were expecting a fast paced action movie, saw a video of audience reactions from somewhere in India on Reddit and they were pissed that it was slow and full of dialogues with little action.

I watched The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent last night. Such a fun movie. Both Nick and Pedro were awesome.

It really is!  Nic Cage being Nic Cage and it gave us the best meme of 2023 as well :P

Watched Oppenheimer yesterday.

I was looking for more science in the movie but it's done really well.

The last 30 mins can be frustrating/grueling but that's what Nolan wanted.

The very end could have packed a little more punch but overall, I think it's a great movie.

Barbenheimer completed yesterday. Felt like the movie event of the year.

Oppenheimer is Nolan’s best movie so far.
Very complex script. And the sound design, score were breathtaking.
3 hrs were not nearly enough for me.

Barbie was okayish.. The production design and everything was great.
Even at 2 hrs, it felt like a drag (or maybe because I watched it within 30 mins of coming out from OP).

The Flash

This was... good, very surprising :D

Ezra nails the role, all iterations.

Some pacing issues and questionable CGI but enjoyed it.

7.5/10

GotG Vol 3

So good, would not have expected one of my favorite movie trilogies be from b grade comic book heroes.

Wasn't expecting it to be so emotional. Floor screaming in that one scene f**king broke my heart, had couple tears flowing down my face.

Some characters wasted.

8.5/10

Funny thing is I actually saw this movie in Hindi in theatre. For the first time in my life I made a mistake of not checking the tickets I have booked are Hindi show and not English. Was a shock when it started 😂. Oddly enough we enjoyed it the same.
