Because it enriches our culture, promotes dialogue and discussions around art

Why do you need a movie critic for that?

Went in with zero expectations and was pleasantly surprised by Gran Turismo on Netflix. Not brilliant or anything but a good movie none the less. The race scenes were nicely done.

Yeah. Its a predictable but nicely shot movie.

Ya it was awesome.

It’s even better if you’re a GT player so many little nods and references

Saw Animal, first half is outstanding with some brilliant BS but man what a bore of a 2nd half.

Vanga had no indepth idea on the father -son theme and mainly used it for marketing when the whole thing was family feud.

Wasted an hour on Tripti and Rashmika storyline which held no importance. Could have created few more Bobby and his brother encounters before the final battle.

Dunki is a story with immense heart! As someone who recently left their home to go to a new, different place - this movie just clicks!

This is a Raju Hirani film if you ever saw one. Good comedy in the first half and the more serious stuff, in the second half. All performances are good! The overall runtime could've been a little shorter. That's my only complaint from it!

Watched Aquaman 2. Decent enough. The VFX are really nice, story is as you would expect, barebones. It is basically an amalgamation of fight scenes, but nothing as spectacular as war of the seas in part 1. Aquaman is pretty much immune to everything, Manta has an OKish arc. Thr chemistry between AM and Orm is better than expected.

Amber Heard is sexy as ever, has minimal screen though.

Overall, being the last movie in current DCEU, worth a watch. Much better than Marvels.

Saw Salaar Ceasefire. Never liked kgf much but absolutely loved this. First half is alright but The 2nd half has incredible world building worthy of a proper lengthy webseries , graphic novel or something . Too much info dump is done in the first few minutes of the 2nd half that some of it will definitely get lost midway. The screenplay format is pretty similar to bahubali including a great twist at the end.

Its pretty much like Mahabharata, Dhuryodhana and Karna story with Game of Thrones type world building attempt..  the audience is purposely made to feel overwhelmed confused, that's why they have Shruti Hassan stopping midway during narration like how audience would feel...

The first half is pretty much like Uggramm (Neel's first) which is the base for the whole movie, but Prabhas can't act shite.. KGF shined because Yash had that swag and screen presence and mass dialogues for his fans.. All that lacking here.. movie will do good but might not cross KGF in gross..

How is the bgm? It is one of the most important part of such movies.

a lot of reviewers said they found the bgm too loud but i personally didnt mind it. The problem is that there is no major signature tune that stays with you except maybe one. This movie is basically bahubali + RRR + kgf all mixed into one.

I just dont get it how blind fanboys ignore Prabhas' shitty acting and pathetic dialogue delivery. For everything they have just one answer " Screen Presence macha", Maaaasssss macha." Thats all director who is putting in his creativity into action with the help of cinematographer. With good visuals and amazing music, any lawda can have screen presence.
