Just watched Marco. I have never seen a more violent malayalam movie, hell, I have never seen a more violent Indian movie.

Damn I saw it today. Hollywood slasher movies are nothing compared to this movie. I was like movie is okay nothing special but last 30-40 minutes are on another level. How did censor board even pass this? f**king crazy sh*t man :panic:

How’s the violence/gore compared to The Boys show?

also, how’s the soundtrack?

And people are saying cinematography is stylish - your views?

I haven't watched much of boys so can't comment on that. Soundtrack is quite good and cinematography can be called stylish especially action sequences. There is a staircase fight which is very well done.

Cinematography is stylish. Gore is not as detailed as The Boys and sometimes CGI blood is obvious. Action is really slick and over the top compared to say movies like Kill. But the violence is next level and mentioning anything about it will spoil the experience. That 15-25 minutes sequence stays with you for a long time and it's quite gruesome. That kind of stuff I don't think has ever been shown in any mainstream Hollywood movie.

Soundtrack is decent.

Wached Mufasa in English, it turned out to be decent prequel. It didn't require 3D treatment just like many other movies.

om the contrary, i actually enjoyed watching it in imax3d, looked beautiful, not dull and audio setup was also good....them rays passing thru the tree branches/leaves, young mufasa being propelled into the air followed water stream, the underwater sequences, they all looked good, i must the 3d conversion (or whatever tech term it is) is really well done on this one. also, the dialogue delivery is good (The Jungle Book still remains my fav - in hindi dub i.e.)

when the bird gets covered with snow/ice, "ande thande padd gaye"

overall, a decent 1 time watch, them kids would love this 1, and as an adult too, it's watchable, money didn't go waste, UNLIKE PUSHPA 2 :puspa:

Watched Mufasa too. Liked the first one more. But will always remember this one as it was the first movie my daughter watched in theatre :)(and first movie after End Game, I watched in theatre). She enjoyed it.

Also watched Kalki. Full marks for the effort

Hey i also watched kalki yesterday, its not bad as i was expecting it to be. I dont like what they did with the main protagonist in the last, that was unnecessary. Idk what to say about Mahabharat scenes, and 3hrs hours is too long, they can easily make it 2 hrs by cutting out so many unnecessary long scenes. I liked the hindi dubbing though.

Gladiator 2

Fun watch and lots of twists I did not see coming. Ofcourse not almost perfect like the first one, but still pretty good. If original was a 10, this would be a solid 8.5 imho :)

Saw lucky bhaskar. Good stuff. Entertaining watch. Not a single dull moment. The lead guy played it very nicely.

Maharaja. Gut wrenching. Started on a light note, some amazing comic situations but soon turns out to be a nightmare :ranting: Vijay Sethupathi :majesty:

Have you seen the Sanjay Dutt's version of the movie? It was a Masterpiece 😂

Ya I saw it in theater when it came out. It was fun at that time. Music and songs are really good. But the whole revenge excuse was really lame. They pussied out and made it very weak. Completely destroyed the premise.
