AtheK Posted July 15, 2025 Report Share Posted July 15, 2025 Finally ended up seeing F1 in IMAX last week and it was totally worth the experience. The soundtrack and visuals is abaolutely spot on and captures the essence of story telling to perfection, this is a movie made to be watched in IMAX. Other then that I did not go in with much of an expectation, it is a normal movie based on F1 as background, story is as predictable as it gets, as per any hollywood masala movie. Movie veers away from actual F1 in way too many ways. Drivers drinking or partying a day before race, no reference to any Qualifying, blatant cheating, this actually leaves the movie in a bad taste as any new comer to F1 will think this is what also happens in the sport. I can pin point many more things but do not want to spoil movie for people who have not seen it yet.
