Zod
New trailer for upcoming Ramayana movie Shot in Full IMAX Hmm effects are mixed bag, few scenes look good but some meh. Ranbir as ram, idk man. He just dont fit as Ram imo. Sita casting not good. All VFX are done by DNEG studios, known for their work on Hollywood blockbusters such as Dune, Inception, and Interstellar. hazard12345
RK as lord rama ain't it. Also the trailer launch strategy of focusing on RK rather than the world was incorrect. Music VFX would have had better impact.
gecko89
Loved the Ramayana Teaser, or Rama intro to be more precise. VFX looks great imo, at least most of them. Was skeptical of Ranbir as Rama from the BTS pics but I think he looked the part. Hopefully we get same intro teaser for Yash's Ravana too. Making good movie or show on Ramayana or Mahabharata not easy today. Lot of people tried in past but no one succeeded except that Japanese animation Ramayana the Legend of Prince Ram. Yeah we need trailer dedicated showing major characters, Ravaan, Laxman and Hanuman. I really want to see how Sunny deol will look as Hanuman. Sunny Paji is 68 years old, so im really curious how he will look as Hanuman
Zod
Oh DNEG is owned by Prime Focus? - Namit Malhotra is the Chairman and CEO of DNEG (Double Negative), a leading global visual effects (VFX) and animation studio. He is a third-generation filmmaker who transformed his family's business, Prime Focus Limited (DNEG's parent company), into a global powerhouse, securing multiple Academy Awards for visual effects. Looks like AI slop. Ranbir doesn't look like Ram at all. Ram should have kind but also sharp (tejaswi) face. Ranbir doesn't have either.
