So, PS Plus Extra is supposed to offer games from Sony's 1-2 years back-catalog PS4-PS5 games and Deluxe will additionally offer PS1-PS3+PSP games?

If thats the case then Plus Extra is a good deal with sale bought coupons / annual discounts.

Deluxe will not have PS3 games as they can only be streamed and not available in India. Deluxe will add PS1, PS2 and PSP.

There are no changes for existing PlayStation Plus members in this membership plan.

For example, if you purchased a 12-month membership five months ago and have seven months left, you will need to pay a pro-rated upgrade fee to upgrade your remaining seven months to the desired plan level. Then on your next payment date, you will be charged for the standard price of the membership plan level that you upgraded to at your current payment frequency.

Folks with accounts from a PS Now supported country can stack up on PS+ then buy a month of PS Now and get entire PS+ tenure converted to PS Premium when it launches.

Even if this trick lasts long enough.

it’s of no use practically.

The lowest regional pricing for PSplus Extra is as much as PSplus Essential in the countries where PSnow is available.

So in India if Extra is 5k

in US/EU essential was already 5K

This trick is of no use to anyone as ppl could potentially subscribed to low cost regions already.

I am not sure what you are talking about. This has nothing to do with Extra but Premium, the highest tier. After it goes live, you will have to shell out $120 in US for Premium. If you do the trick, you have to pay $60 for PS+ for a year and $15 for PS now(one month) effectively $75 and once tiers go live, you will get one year of PS+ premium.

PS Now 12 month codes were going for Rs. 3200 on CDKeys and they were sold out as soon as Sony made the announcement.

This would've converted to highest tier of PS Plus for just 3000 a year.

But Sony started blocking these codes once they figured out this loophole.
