I have a ps plus HK account and my regular subscription runs till June this year. PSN was asking 11 HKD to convert it to Extra and 14 for Deluxe. Will just let the regular subscription run for now.

Are these extra charges based of monthly rate difference or yearly rate difference?

I think it depends on the number of days pending in your current subscription. Mine had only one month left.

essential monthly is hkd48 and extra is 75, so you need to pay 27 for 1 month 

 

or 

 

essential yearly is 308 and extra is 515, so you should pay (515-308)/12 = 17.25 for 1 month 

 

how come you are ending up paying only 11 for 1 month for extra?

Just checked I have only 13 days left. It ends on June 6.

 

So 11 for 13 days should be around 26/27 per month then I guess it’s monthly rates conversion.

Damn, this means we are all screwed 

 

they will charge us monthly ₹250pm to convert to Extra or ₹3000 per year extra

 

and not ₹2000 per year. 
 

a 50% increase in extra charges

Quite a few games I haven't played in the HK list. So, Upgrading will be fine for me. My PS plus will be ending in Dec so lesse how much extra i will have to pay.

 

Why is The last of us missing in the list, i believe that was also announced.

btw for PS Plus extra the game "ownership" model works like old psplus right? like when the game is in ps plus, you add it to your account, and if it leaves the ps plus collection you can still download and play?

Or is this the gamepass model where once a game leaves you can't play even if you have it installed?
