Tried new Saints RoW game as it was on Plus. Man its so bad, no wonder it bombed and studio got closed.

 

How went they went from making amazing Saints Row 3 and 4 to woke garbage like new SR game. :/

Everybody needs to play Disco Elysium.

 

Unforgettable experience and especially since now the final cut has the full VO.

 

Alien isolation Isolation is also a good get.

Honestly, with the backlog because of the very good months and the PS Extra list I am okay with 3-4 bad months.

These games are not hurting.

 

The price increase that will take affect sooner or later for everybody is what is hurting.

They should just free online gaming from the clutches of subscriptions.

As it is most of the active ones are free.

 

Also Extra is another debate…..which probably has content that was unimaginable a few years ago on a subscription service.

Same goes for GamePass Ultimate.

 

 

But price increase on Essential & Gold/Core is what is unfathomably stupid.

 

Doesn’t hurt right now on Xbox coz Gold/Core = Ultimate (honeymoon period)…..but does pinch strongly on Playstation.

Had given up on Disco Elysium after a couple of attempts, but finally got into it. Finished it recently and it's really really good and deep. The late night phone call and the nightclub dance are amongst my most memorable gaming moments now!

 

Also finished Alien Isolation last month, loved the epic ride. Can hardly believe it's a decade old game and still much better than Callisto Protocol which turned out to be so repetitive and boring.

All yakuza games are standalone stories. 7 is almost a reboot of the series

I recommend from this month's extra line-up:-

 

GTA V

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy

Prodeus - has excellent gyro.

Metal Hellsinger

Grime

Tinykin

GTAV has already been in & out of PSnow/Gamepass multiple times.

 

It’s a freakin 10 year old game.

 

 

Without a shadow of the doubt Sony has dropped its quality of offerings on all tiers of subscriptions with a massive pay increase.

They aren’t even offering holiday deals for already subscribed users.

 

 

 

It seems they feel that there is so need to compete with GamePass anymore.

I only thing that personally feel annoyed about is that I’ll have to pay more for online features starting 2026.

 

Absence of competition is bad for any industry.

 

I hope Nintendo gets back into Core High spec console Hardware business.

 

Don’t really have hope of any new player getting in.

 

Xbox just obliterated themselves in this space with poor management when it mattered most.
